Hinamatsuri in 2025

For the 2025 Hinamatsuri, JCD put the theme of hoping to skip over spring and see summer come. With COVID-19 as a thing of the past, the number of audiences increased dramatically this year. Female chindon-ya performers were invited from Japan, captivating the crowd with their lively performance. While their costumes and hairstyles were distinct from traditional Japanese women's attire, the event was designed to attract younger people who are influenced by new forms of Japanese culture, such as anime.
